Bottoms & Props offers a wide array of boat detailing services, but we are especially known for our underwater work. We are proud to service the Florida Keys boating community from Ocean Reef to Key West and everywhere in between (Key Largo, Islamorada, Tavernier, Matecumbe, Duck Key, Marathon, Summerland, Sugarloaf, Big Pine and Stock Island). Captain Brett Roach, owner
I moved to the Keys in 2007 and quickly feel in love with our islands and the community. The first couple of years down here I split my time between captaining dive boats and teaching scuba with bottom cleaning and boat repairs.
Bottoms And Props organically but rapidly turned into something bigger and better than a one man band. The company owes most of its success and its excellent reputation to our outstanding staff of skilled divers and mechanics that have worked with us over the years.
Hull divers, boat mechanics and blue collar islanders often get a bad rap for being unreliable and unprofessional. My mission is and always has been to offer Keys boaters the comfort and peace of mind that come with our reliable and knowledgeable service.
We care about our customers and the boats that we look after and make sure our work is done right every time.
I spend most of my days in the boat yard fixing running gear issues so boats can get back out on the water. It’s not always easy but it is rewarding to save the day one boat at a time!
Sarah Roach, VP
Sarah is an avid diver and while she’s scrubbed her share of bottoms, these days she is more often above water and behind the computer. You’ll often speak to Sarah when you call in regarding scheduling, billing, and other inquiries.
