In-Water Prop Changes
We’ll pull ‘em in the water! If you were out cruising the beautiful, shallow, coral filled waters of the Keys and you heard a bump you may want to give us a call, especially if you notice any signs of vibration.
We know you don’t want your props back on the boat on Keys’ time. Our normal turn around time on a Propeller recondition is faster than average!
We have an extensive collection of equipment including most sizes of Prop Smith, fitting up to a 5” shaft, hydraulic presses, and many other types of pullers and specialty equipment for prop pull work.
We will also check your shafts, bearings and other running gear to make sure that aren’t other concerns.
We service props from Ocean Reef to Key West and everywhere in between (Key Largo, Islamorada, Tavernier, Matecumbe, Duck Key, Marathon, Summerland, Sugarloaf, Big Pine and Stock Island).
Prop Reconditioning, Balancing & Sales
In most cases we repair prop’s pitch angels to, or better than, factory standards and MRI reports come with all inboard reconditions. When metal is missing the props will be welded and props will always be balanced or Dyna Balanced. In the rare event that we are not able to repair a prop, we also sell new and used props. We can also straighten bent shafts or fabricate new ones. Props can be professionally painted with PropSpeed or Prop Coat by Petit.
